The first question a lot of people tend to ask is why I became an officiant. The short answer is that I love a good love story. When my wife and I were ready to get married, we needed to find someone that would perform an inter-faith ceremony for us. We worked with a wonderful celebrant that helped us bring our ideas to life. After experiencing a personal love story with my wife and declaring our love for each other at our wedding, I wanted help others share what makes their story special and unique to them. Your ceremony is where your story should be on display for all to see and be a part of. In some cases, you may have guests that do not fully know your unique story. It's the ceremony where they can learn and understand why you and your spouse should be together.
When I'm not officiating, I am a teacher in Bergen County, NJ. I grew up in south Jersey and came to north Jersey to get my bachelors degree from Montclair State University and settled in. After obtaining masters degrees from Boston University and Kent State University, I continue to teach and play the roles of husband and father at home. |
